Below is a look at some of the post-season accolades received by Sunflower League players. A few things of note: the Kansas Coaches All-State team only is only for seniors, hence the fact that no underclassmen are on the roster. Also, as far as star-power goes, it appears that the Sunflower League's talent reputation across the metro was down this season. For instance, of the Star's 24 First Teamers, only four were from the Sunflower League. Perhaps the lack of representation was warranted, but regardless, it's one of the lowest totals I've seen on their All-Metro team in years.Kansas City Star All-Metro Teams
