Scouting Report
Lawrence has all of the tools in place at the skill positions to have a big season in 2012, but perhaps their biggest question mark sits with their offensive and defensive linesNeither side has a ton of returning experience but Brown is the one player who should make the transition into the season much smoother for the Chesty Lions.

The thing that jumps out the most about Brown on film is his tremendous motor which is always running.  He is ferocious along the defensive line, using his squatty stature and raw strength (he benches 335 and squats 500) to gain leverage and get past taller offensive lineman.  Time and time again last season he would make plays where it literally looked like he ran untouched into the backfield--and they weren't designed screen plays by the offense.  At the point of attack Brown is extremely quick and low to the ground and most offensive lineman aren't used to blocking a player like that.

There are going to be some great lineman in the Sunflower League in 2012 and pound-for-pound Brown is as relentless on the attack as any of them.  I expect him to continue to make big plays for LHS providing a dominant force inside on the defensive side of the ball.

The next player you should do a profile on is John Blazevic, QB from Olathe East. Coming off a decent junior year.
