New Sunflower League Football Message Board

It's long past due, but I've finally added a message board forum to the Sunflower League Football Blog. You can link to the message board simply by clicking on the 'Message Board' tab in the header banner at the top of the page.

I would strongly encourage all readers to create a username for the message board. It has the potential to be an excellent forum for discussion of the Sunflower League, during the season and in the offseason. If you've followed or posted on message boards you're aware of the massive collaboration, promotion, and general popularity a board can create for a team, league, etc.

Registering a username/handle is very simple, and only takes two or three minutes. To do so, select the 'Message Board' tab which will take you to the message board itself. From there you'll be able to select the 'Register' option in the upper right hand corner of the screen. The instructions from there are self-explanatory and easy to follow.

There are two forums listed in the message board: the Sunflower League Football forum and the Recruiting forum. The first is basically a grand extension of the comments section, and users are encouraged to discuss anything and everything related to football in the Sunflower League. Keep in mind, the board will be moderated, so the use of excessive profanity, slurs, or others items of their likeness will not be tolerated.

The second, the Recruiting forum, is essentially a forum where players and their parents can link Mid-State Sports profiles, Hudl videos, Youtube highlights, etc. This section will be more heavily moderated -- this is not to become a cheerleading section.

Preferably, college coaches who peruse the blog will be able to use the forum as a repository for links to more detailed player profiles at other sites. So please keep it succinct. Feel free to start a new thread for any players(s), and link applicable information in the thread.

I hope the message board enhances everyone's readership experience on the blog. If you have any questions about setting up a username, general usage, etc., feel free to email me.

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving day and weekend, and let's hope the Lancers can put another notch in the Sunflower League's state title belt this Saturday.

Thanks as always for your readership.
