SM West's 2009 varsity football schedule was released recently. Here is how next year's regular season will play out:
Sep.4 at Olathe South - ODAC
Sep. 11 Olathe East - South District Stadium
Sep. 18 at Leavenworth - Abel Field
Sep. 24 Law. Free State - South District Stadium (Thursday)
Oct. 2 at SM South - South District Stadium
Oct. 9 Lawrence - South District Stadium
Oct. 16 SM Northwest - South District Stadium
Oct. 23 SM North - South District Stadium
Oct. 29 at SM East - South District Stadium (Thursday)
**Interesting to note that SM West plays seven of its 9 games at SM South District Stadium. With SM West's fan base, that might as well be considered seven home games.

Yeah but with O South, O East and LFS 3 of the first four games we'll find out real quick if Callahan can work his magic again after losing Harvey. Throw in SMNW and Lawrence and nobody's going to be able to question SMW's schedule strength this year anyway.
