West holds on to beat North. North killed themselves tonight on turnovers. 14 Vikings points off fumbles by North.

Free State up 42-7 on SMNW

North standout Mason Perez possibly out for awhile. Hurt his collarbone on the last play of the first half.

Treshawn Root is really establishing himself as the more dominate runningback of ON's two stars. He made many 50+ gains throughout the entire game.

oh, and here are the ON vs SMW scores from last week.
Fresh 33-0 ON
Soph 0-22 SMW
JV 14-20 SMW

Out of all of these games, I feel that one of the most significant plays was a 100yd interception by Kai Rowden for a TD with around 5:30 left in the game. This touchdown brought the Eagles within one score to win, but the Offense couldn't capitalize.

Looks like SME got taken behind the woodshed for a whoppin again. When will the Lancer fans come to the realization that everyone else has. They are a second tier team that is one dimensional and lacks depth????? East fans have certainly been scarce on the board the last few weeks.

Eaglelover- SM East doesn't play until 1pm today.

I'm glad to see SM West is rebounding after a rough start.

In fairness to Eaglelover1, 810 sports announced on the radio Friday night that "The Lancers of Shawnee Mission East fell to Olathe South 44-20). Obviously, that was OLATHE east beating ONW by that score. It was quite the screw up.

The JV team for ON is getting off to one of its best starts in about 10 years. The JV running backs are showing a lot of promise for next year.

As for the sophmore team, there has been a few execution problems that have hindered moving the ball on offense. There are few sophomores playing on the JV level, with most JV spots filled by sophomores being on the O-Line and linebackers.
