KC Metro Sports released their annual Super 25 poll this week, with four Sunflower League teams making the list. Having observed the poll through the years I can say that Metro Sports' does a great job ranking their Super 25, and that the poll does a pretty good job avoiding biases.With regard to Sunflower League teams, the only ranking on this list that jumped out to me was Olathe South at #9. The Falcons would make quite the splash if they were able to go from a 4-5 season in 2009, to a top ten ranking in the Kansas City metro in 2010. With their returning experience and talent, and the obvious confidence Jeff Gourley has in his team, you never know.

if olathe south is deserving of a #9 ranking. Then leavenworth has gotta be on their like come on metro sports
As a South fan, that does surprise me to be ranked that high in the pre-season. Once the season comes though, we'll see. On the other hand they were at the same team camp as Kearney, Staley, and University Academy, all teams featured on the list and they were clearly the best team there next to Kearney.
Blue Valley West's high ranking is also somewhat surprising as well as Olathe East's low ranking.
