Who would have thought that South running game would have out performed the ON running game. Didn't look like the ON backs wanted to be there. Adonis makes a costly fumble just like he did against BV in playoffs last year. Lucky Swartz recovered. South mistakes did them in. ON needs to feel like they stole one last night.

I agree, ON walked away lucky. If it wasn't for field position ON was in trouble, OS was able to go right up the gut on ON, hopefully this is a wake up call for ON and they don't lay an egg with 0 points against OE like they did earlier in the year.

17-0 Does not seem like you walked away with a steal maybe 17-16 would have but not 17-0.

Good Luck to both Olathe teams. Hopefully the field will be in much better shape then last evening. Olathe East and Olathe North are both loaded with playmakers. History shows that this will be another hard fought close game. Olathe North will have to pull out all their trick plays. I have to give the nod the Hawks.

For all the trash talk from all the South fans, all I can say is HA. To talk the talk, Clayton, and not walk the walk, Clayton, proves how costly it can be when players and fans are more focused on the outcome of a game than the game itself.

See, that's funny considering I never once have talked trash on the blog.

^"ON walked away luckly"??? What? 17 to 0? LOL you just mad bec Faglcons lost...

And as for Clayton, no need to lie and....shut up.

See you next year!

Clayton everything you have said is talking trash

the south running game is more equppied for that type of game its set up where it can be more down hill with less cuts, north proved to be the team with the experience and the team that wanted it more that was a test of wills and north came out on top but odac was left in very bad condition from what i saw i dont know if that field will be in good shape to play in next week

Clayton said...

ODAC's field is a complete mess, especially in the red-zone areas.

Yes ON seemed to want it a little more. They seemed like a tougher group of kids, what was up with all the OS players on the sidelines wearing parkas over their uniforms, you didn't see ON players wearing anything. Maybe South is a little "soft", suck it up boys.

Whoever made the first post is correct, ON stole one last night. Thank goodness for the South mishaps because OS put the hammer down on the two ON backs. ON was lucky the rain came because the air assault would have done them in.

Clayton said...

There was NEVER an aerial attack plan.

What is wrong with you faglconlover????

South beat North in every aspect but turnovers and because of that the game. All North had to do was wait for South to self destruct, and that's what happened. Bad snap, fumbled snap, INTs. North didn't steal that win, they simply waited for south to lose.

wow what else can north do to prove to this city and this state that they belong up there again we beat a down hill running 17 to 0 in my book thats not comming away lucky or with a steal come on know give them credit when credit is due damn mud is the best equalizer and guess what the better team came out on top and guess who it was damn and you guys talk about feild position well guess what thats part of the game and they beat them in that to and if they ran it up the gun all day why the hell did they not win

I'll give props to O north for their patience in riding out that win, the senior leadership and experience of North came through in spades against a Falcon team that starts 2 sophs and a Frosh on defense, and starts a soph at QB. That being said, according to the Olathe news paper, that Sands kid had 40 more yards of offense than the the whole Olathe North team. Give credit to the Falcons for playing it tough.

Having seen both teams play live, I'm calling it Olathe East 28, Olathe North 14. Willingham + Fulson > Simmons + Saunders, IMO.

I know OS lost and making excuses just sounds bad, but losing Kendal Harland in the 2nd quarter to hypothermia was a huge loss for the Falcons. His backup wasnt nearly as experienced in where to block and lacked the leadership that Kendal had.

Our defense deserves credit for holding North to only 78 yards though. Our offense just couldnt get it done, plain an simple.

"South beat North in every aspect"^^
You must me retarded. You just say that is because you lost, pecker.

See you next year.

That last post came from a REAL intelligent Falcon, probably has an IQ equal to the points they scored.

From whoever commented about OS playing the sophs and fresh, that is too bad that your program hasn't developed a JR or SR QB, because that was certainly a weak link Friday night.

Olathe north didn't just make it cause they were lucky Olathe north won because they are a better football team! They beat south in the regular season and now again in the playoffs. That just proves that Olathe north is just a better football team then Olathe south period!!

As a member of the Eagles freshman team, I understand the ON Varsity's problem with other schools. No matter how many games ON wins, titles they earn, or teams they beat, other schools never give us respect. Sure, ON didn't have their best game this friday, but we beat OS in the end.

@Clayton
I know that the weather on friday was bad, but OS was not the only team effected. I'm sure that if there was no rain, the score would probably be around 28-7 for ON (so no difference at all).

WOW.. personally I am a falcon alumni and I am very ashamed of your attitude Clayton. Every school always talks trash on other schools but you should NEVER talk bad about your own team. OS lost the game because of the offense and DEFENSE. You are a part of a team! Clearly we lost because the attitude of some of our boys sucks! You really need to get off the computer and focus on more important things.. like practicing for next year! Your parents must be so proud to have raised a young man with such a brilliant attitude.

Clayton said...

ON doesn't get respect because ON doesn't respect the other schools. Nearly every ON player spitting on our goalpost pad? How respectful.

I never talked bad about our team, I'm just telling it how it was. All I said was that losing Harland didn't help us, and that our offense just couldn't function the same without him. The defense had it rough because we just couldn't move the ball out of our side of the field, plain and simple.

A couptle things: A) Never did I say I was a Falcon fan. I've been a fan of good high school football for years. I just happened to be at that game.

B) I supported my argument with stats and information. Nick sands had 123 yards of total offense, Olathe North had 72, to me that's beating them offensively and defensively.

C) You make no supporting statements to anything you say, you just insult people, which is a great argument/debate technique for a 6 year old. You high Schoolers really are ruining the discussions on this board of intelligent MEN.

D) As Clayton says, Olathe North does spit on the goal post of all their opponents, and it mystifies me as a football fan who enjoyed watching the likes of Sprolles and Mack and Bouknight that this is a tradition that is accepted and allowed by their coaches- but I can see the class of that team when instead of kneeing the ball with 20 seconds left and South with no timeouts, they elected to run the ball in for a meaningless TD (again, this is called using factual information to support an opinon).

Clayton, I hope you realize you need to stay off these boards during the season. It's un-sportsman like and doesn't represent your school very well. No amount of typing and rhetoric helped you beat the Eagles.

North has had a great run, but again, Olathe East to me passes the eye test better than the Eagles. East will be the rep from east Kansas in 6A.

I understand what you mean, i thought about how the eagles act towards other teams and noticed that they do alot of smack talking. I also noticed that some of the former players you are talking of are now coaches and they're the ones who start the smack talk. I find it ironic that the coaches say ON doesn't get respect even though they don't give any other team except OE either. This causes them to only do a half-a** job. But I believe they will make a comeback against a team like OE.

South had 88 yards of Total offense and North had 72 yards of Total offense.

Lets compare apples to apples.

not that OE was any less disrespectful when their running back started dancing in the middle of the field after a 4th down stop with 2 minutes left i understand you know you're gunna win by then but come on now dont start dancing in the middle of the field with till the game is over and you're in the locker room
